​Over the last 20 years, I have been in a plethora of roles starting as a 

casual support worker up to the Head of Operations for an Australian wide service provider. Having the practical experience of being in operations and the business development space in addition to qualifications in small business management and community/disability studies I feel this has given me the lived experience & tools to help build better NDIS support providers.

One of my passions is also to assist families & support networks to advocate especially in complex circumstances. I have worked with many stakeholders to assist with reassessment & review processes as well as a gathering documentation to file formal complaints with the commission. It's important as a human to be heard. 

 

I too am a person with a dynamic disability. This means that some days I need mobility aids (my favourite is my blinged out walking stick) and some days I can cope without. Having multiple medical conditions that at times leads me to needing support, does not stop me from doing what I do best.
